A woman who died after being hit by a car while walking her three dogs in London has been named.

Police have identified her as Olivia Riley from Suffolk and said her family are being supported by specialist officers.

The 41-year-old had been walking her golden retrievers along Cheyne Walk in Chelsea on Saturday morning when they were hit by the car.

Officers and paramedics were called to the scene, where she was pronounced dead.

Her three dogs also died as a result of their injuries.

The driver of the car, a 26-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He suffered minor injuries and was taken into custody.

Scotland Yard has appealed for anyone with information to come forward, particularly if they captured the incident on video or on a dashcam.

Those with information have been asked to call 101, providing the reference 1500/14MAY.
